The 2MASS redshift survey is an extensive map of the universe. Each point of light is a galaxy. Purple and blue galaxies are close to us, yellow and red galaxies are farther away. The galaxies gather in gargantuan crisscrossing threads around gigantic voids. This web of matter exists in every direction, it is limitless.
